This video was made to remember the memory of the Macintosh SE/30. It features Vicki, the Apple Speach voice, and music by Beethoven. This movie came out really well, and just thought I would share it with the You Tube community.

The goal of this video when I made it all those months ago was to show the starting up of a classic Macintosh. There are still alot of people that only know OS X, and nothing about the classic enviroment.

Ahhh the trusty SE/30. I never had a better feeling buying a computer, than when I got my used SE/30 in 1996 at 16. A great computer, and the most advanced compact mac of it's era aside the ultra rare impossible to find Color Classic II. I had a dual monitor setup on my SE/30 using a rasterops 24 bit video card which in it's circa of use(1989)was unheard of to have such a setup with a home computer. I even installed Os 8.1 on it. An os that came out almost ten years after the SE/30 was designed!

I had an SE I converted into an SE/30, maxed the memory, added an ethernet card... the traded it in for some other computer hardware. I wish I still had it, and am searching for an SE/30 now.

I had one of these :) and I'm only 16. My first hard drive was 4MB, now it's 1TB!

My first computer was a Macintosh SE/30. I purchased it around 1990 and used it regularly until the mid 90s when I finally put it in storage.

It was still in its original box.... until today. I unpacked it, set it up, plugged it in, and flipped the power switch. It took about 10 minutes to show the desktop, but it did work!!

Love it. I have an SE/30 that I write articles with and just recently hooked it to an Apple Stylewriter II and printed out its first Word document in over 20+ years. Fun.

I have an SE 30 back home. Just for kicks i would like to replace the screen and mess around with it, just for old times sake. Anyone have any information on where i can buy a new screen?

hi, i need help finding a classic computer game. its the one were your like a triangle and you go and capture these yellow flags and these red triangular things try to stop you. im not sure if it is a classic mac game but i had it on an old mac a long time ago. thanks.
