  • Thanks, from a Wannabe sailor. With the New Year only 2 weeks away, I awoke with a resolution to learn to sail in 2012. Can't wait for spring!

  • @MrSteve0148 Hope your New Year's Resolution will come to its fruition. Yeah, I also can't wait for spring/summer. Thanks for the reply. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  • I spent the whole week down there. There were many more ships than on the vid.I spent 35 days just tripping thu the South shore. I have to go back!

  • @surfnfx - I'm glad you enjoyed the vid. Yeah, there were many more ships at the event than on the vid. At the time, I had only about 2 hours for a lunch break from work. I would have loved to spend the whole afternoon filming the parade of sails but I had to get back to work.

  • What brand of videocam did you use in this video?

  • I'm currently using the Canon Vixia HFS10. It's a great camcorder!

  • Thanks for the video. I remember this day, it was so beautiful. I was aboard PRIDE II, grinning from ear to ear.

We were in your area several years ago, its just beautiful and the people are so friendly .

  • Just Beautiful, I love a tall ship. I truly believe I was a man of the sea in another

    life time.

  • @dustinwayne12 Halifax is in the province of Nova Scotia in Canada. Well, this year, the Canadian Navy will be celebrating the 100th Anniversary. Festivities will start on June 28 and will last one week. Starting June 23rd, naval ships from around the world will be sailing into Halifax for the celebration - that's the closest to a "parade".
