William Gunawan performs "Double Trouble" from Harry Potter

May 23, 2009: William is in the second grade and has just completed his first year of piano lessons at Capital Music Center. He is performing "Double Trouble" composed by John Williams for the Harry Potter Movies. this is deceiving because the piano is playing back an accompaniment to the very simple arrangement he's playing, so it SOUNDS if you're not paying attention like he's playing something more complicated than he is.

@WanderingFilms so a couple of thoughts here: he's been playing piano for one year at this time of this video, he's the pianist in an orchestra, he keeps incredible rhythm, amazing dynamics, and there are so many modulations and accidentals in this piece, it's really not quite as simple as you might think, how many kids at his age & stage could sit in with a 12 piece orchestra and keep up this well; there's nothing deceiving because the orchestra obviously has the intro before he begins playing
