This is a unique crossing, it controls 2 seperate, but close, crossings. It has 2 seperate flashers (EOR's), to control the lights on each crossing. (Official AAR, now AREMA definitions; FLASHER = RELAY) ...One PMD activates the signals for both roadways at the same time. Engineer Bonerman McCoy somehow professionally operates his train through. Crossing started to tail-ring, thus the brief bell ringing at the end, I do not have crossings that ring as the gates rise, that is unsafe. ..And I offer no explination for the two chicks in the blue car.....
Why is it unsafe to ring as the gates rise? Watching your videos I thought it was strange that they didn't.

@coreym76 When a bell is sounded at a crossing, it means CLEAR THE TRACKS. When the gates are down, there is obviously no need for a bell anymore, as the crossing is then closed, and a trains horn blowing is much louder than a bell, and set to ring while rising is unsafe. -When you hear that, it should mean the crossing has reactivated for some reason, as shown here. Never should a bell be used as an "All clear" as some have suggested. Totally diminishes the warning meaning of the bell.
