Rescue Me

A brief video I did that puts focus on the plight of dogs abandoned at shelters, to support German Shepherd rescue.

Unfortunately, the Sony Corporation decided that my use of an Enya song for the original video was cutting into their gigantic profit margins and forced YouTube to remove the sound.

I have had to swap the song to place this video back on my YouTube account, and while the new song works well with the pictures, it's not quite the same. What a shame that corporations like Sony will not support us little people just trying to help save the lives of unwanted dogs.

@sobreellas - The original song I used on this video was from Enya, but YouTube then blocked my video for a copyright violation because Enya's music belongs to Sony. The song I am using now is Robin Stine's "Half my Heart", which is one of the "free" songs YouTube offers for videos.

i work w/ a no kill animal shelter. there are a lot of dogs that have lived their whole life there. it is sad that there are so many & what has happened to them. some have been left at the shelter or volunteers house, some were found running the streets, some were given up by their owners 'cause the couldn't keep them or didn't want them, & the worst ones some where found or taken from abusive situations.;-(

Yes, I'm aware there are dogs other than German Shepherds, but as I'm involved with Shepherd Rescue it makes more sense for me to do a video about GSDs than other dogs.

In all the 40 years i have had German Shepherds all have come from shelters or or dog pounds. I miss them all today

Born and breed with GSDs, have a GSD/Greyhound cross along with another rescue dog @ the moment. This vid had me hugging them like their lives depended on it, cried like a baby

omg this is so sad, it made me cry, thank you for putting this video yupp and makeing lots of people aware of this issue. I didnt know that that many dogs go put to sleep, 4 been unwanted, more than half, i am shocked, R.I.P to them dos who did not get a loving home, and god bless.

Thank you for posting this video,although it made me cry profusely.I wish &pray that it could influence some people &made them think before they take a pup home.This is a real life,loving animal that does not need much,only a bowl of food &water,some play &a bit of love.Take time to TRAIN your dog &gain loving companion that would give his/her life for you,is it too much to ask for?Life is precious,Dogs are precious, vulnerable,they totally depend on us.Show your heart,donate to GSD RESCUE!
