http://www.tlck9academy.com Dog training and being a Dog Trainer is so much fun! at TLC K9 Academy we love your dog's like they are our own. Here is a short cute video, but telling. These two puppy labs, 11 months "Louie," and 12 months "Tucker" both had trouble walking together especially off-leash dog training. Here in the owners first lesson she is learning to manage and control both dogs without using a leash in her hand. The owner is able to have dog's that are well behaved, off-leash, and most of all happy tail waging dogs! They did great and so will your dog. • isn't it easier for the handler if both dogs are on the same side?

  • The owner wanted both dogs to be on different sides of her. I find that both having the dogs on the same side and on opposite sides is just a matter of training, one is no more difficult than the other. Thanks for your comment.

  • I agree with you, the dogs should be able to be both on the same side or on opposite sides, so that they do not get used to one side. Even when we train heeling for hunting, most people heel on the left side if they are right handed shooters, and on the right side for left handed shooters. But we still teach the dogs to heel on either side on command. You never know when you may want the dog to be on a certain side for one reason or the other. Plus the dogs think its fun! Good work!

  • its so difficult to watch both of them though?? we tandem them on the same side that way you only have to look on one side
