Yeah he was, about fifteen odd years ago. He did a few seasons of it and one of the seasons he stared in it with Naoko Mori!!! Small world right?

Somewhere on youtube there is video of him and Naoko singing at 2008 Comic Con.

I prefer Ramin Karimloo's version, he sang it on his Night with the Phantom tour, it was AMAZING!! :D

I didn't knew this song till today... but today my vocal-coach said to me that we'll start learning this song... and I'm actually very happy about it because it's such a beautiful song and I really like John Borrowman's version.
