I really wish I could have understood what the narrator was saying (or whispering). I'll look for more info on IRV.

Did you even review your video before you posted it? You put more work into the graphics than you did into the audio.
I suggest that you redo the audio at a normal pace and adjust the volume. Then when the audio is perfect make the video match the audio.
Yes I know its easy to be a critic. But this topic has great potential. Good Luck.

There are other options (other than plurality) that are far better than IRV. Approval is one. "Range voting" is another. A Condorcet method is also better.
IRV is good in theory and awful in practice.

@simjom02 we've had it for 90 years federally and in my state we've had it for 100

We've had IRV/AV voting here in Australia for about 50 years, we call it preferential voting. It eliminates 'tactical' voting as you are free to vote for any candidate knowing that it'll not split the vote helping a diametrically opposed party the opportunity to win a seat. Its not perfect but it is certainly more representative of the people and gives like-minded parties the chance to run in a seat with the knowledge that they will not split each others vote.

Yes bring in IRV/AV in the UK.

With IRV, you actually get to vote for the candidate of your choice, rather than 'having to settle' for your second or even third choice.
Third party candidates would get a larger share of the votes, making funding easier to obtain, and the election results would be a much more accurate view of the will of the people.
The long drawn-out primary season could be greatly shortened, decreasing the cost of campaigning.

If you Google Instant Runoff Voting and Indaba, you'll find a good example of IRV in action.

It is not clear to me why you can't reply with a url so excuse the extra verbiage.
I'll also try to spread the word about it.
