Sorry for the awkward camera angle, I didn't realize it was so high, but I had a great take. Been getting asked for some video on my new SG. Here it is totally stock, and I think she sounds like a beast without any work done, just improvising over some Steely Dan type sounding stuff getting my Larry Carlton on. Funny thing about this guitar is it plays like a tele. Odd little guitar.

Found you on U-Tube after googling info on the 2009 Les Paul Traditional Ebony - just picked one up. Anyway, you rip, and you have inspired me to learn things that are out of my "musical lexicon", if that makes sense. Thanks for the videos. DJ in MI

  • @LGuitarB Im so glad I turned you on to a new cat. He's a killer guitarist.. One of the best...

  • @misterreality: now how did I miss that name over the years? I just looked him up and he played with all kinds of great musicians! And it is a thoroughly Dutch name at that!

  • @LGuitarB Thanks. What I typically do is to take a theme and play off of it, I studied at GIT in the 90;s and that was something I picked up from Carl Verheyen,

  • Very nice improvisation! Its so well put together that it sounds like an arranged solo, rather than an improvisation.

  • Some one asked what I was playing thru - it's a Boss Js-8 Practice machine.

  • @mattchurchill the best part is you influenced me when I saw you using the SG, and I stole some of your licks. LOL so I think you are stealing from yourseld. Thanks man! It's always awesome to get your stamp of approval!
