GSP Did Not Like Me Pacing Him!!!

This Georgia State Patrol officer heading south on I-85 today did not care for the fact when I pulled in behind him as he passed me as we exited route 316 and entered I-85.

I decided to pace him and see how fast he would go over the speed limit. We all know speed kills, so I am shocked there are any police officers left alive, as they are the worst offenders on the road.

He finally decided that I should not be going as fast, or near as fast , as he was, and gave me an I/O K band blast from his radar. Every time I would get back up to the same speed or close to his I would get an I/O shot to warm me.

I'm sure he saw the V1 in the window when he passed as he almost broke his neck looking at the V1 and camera setup.

I kept looking for him in a flaming pile of wreckage, but never saw it. Maybe speed does not kill, maybe it's poor drivers!! Just a thought.

@Medicelectrosports The ZR4's on the Escort are so sensative that I had to turn laser detection off!! They falsed like crazy and since i have LI's no need for the ZR4's.

@MrHotroddoc It's the toll reader equipment. They use an IR signal to read the code on the Peach Pass.

70 - 75 In that area isn't fast yes it's 15+ over but everybody is going that... I do 85 or more in that area

Driving behind a GSP at that speed takes a lot of guts I would think one rear I/O K band shot and he would have nailed you, especially in that car.

LEO don't obey the law they just enforce it.

I'm not a fan of the HOT lane and the annoying alerts of the HOT readers.
