How to make a pin float on water and point north just like a compass !!

This is a very simple trick to do !
It can become useful in some "surviving" situations LOL

Thanks for the cool video. My only question is, if you were in a real survival situation (with no compass for directional comparison), how would you know which end of the pin is pointing North and which is pointing South?

@dgilbertify if you magnetize the pin correctly , the sharp end will allways point the north , you you just got a pair of earphones, a bottle of water and a pin, you are saved, you can get the magnet out of one earphone and magnetize the pin, if you are a smoker, you can use the paper from the cigarette[instead toilet paper] or some filter[you have to get the pin trough the filter] to make it float.... there are many ways, this one is for educational purposes only xD
