I get asked all the time, for the best ways to get re-tweeted and have your content shared, and I always say that you have to first understand why people are following you, then find out what they want to see and ....actually give it to them.

My Very Simple Twitter Marketing Strategy.

1) Make Friends with like minded people in my niche

2) Give away lots of great free content (ie, videos like this one)

That's it. There are tons of twitter tips, and twitter tricks, but you can't go wrong in the long run with this twitter strategy.

So if you're looking for a great way to build your following on twitter all the social media networks, I'd recommend first understanding why people are following you.
