The original are extinct; this is a new version with better temperament not recognized by AKC.. Great dogs though and do not have all the health problems that an AKC English Bulldog tend to have.

@BoostedYards86 The foundation crosses consisted of ½ English Bulldog, 1/6 BullMastiff or any type of Mastiffs, 1/6 Am Pit Bull Terrier/ Staff Terrier, and 1/6 AmBulldog. After many carefully planned crosses, the Olde Bulldogge emerged and began to breed true. Real Olde English Bulldogge have Tails also they don't look like Big English Bulldogs. Buyers Beware.

the sound of the vacuum cleaner is really disturbing to them. It produces a horrible noise to them. They have very sensitive ears.

Yes, the orginal breed is indeed extinct, the OLD ENGLISH BULLDOG. However they have been recreated and renamed the OLDE ENGLISH BULLDOGGE.
I own one of these myself, they are amazing dogs.

The breed standard for OEBs is 1/2 English Bulldog, 1/6 American Bulldog, 1/6 Mastiff, and 1/6 American Pit Bull Terrier.
They are the best dogs in the world and great with family. I have two of them.

Huh? What is "extinct"? OEBs have only been around since the early 70s and are certainly not extinct.
