2000 Mercury Cougar Magnaflow Catback

Magnaflow catback. Used to be sold as a kit directly from magnaflow. Considering they stopped making cougars over 8 years ago the kit has been discontinued.

In response to people's questions. Standard 2.5L, 5 spd and very well cared for....thanks Eric.

which would you prefer for the cougar, this magnaflow exhaust or a borla pro x series (referring to the TruBendz.com kits) btw, i have a '02 v6 cougar, same color :)

@Lilhitter25y I'm not a huge fan of borla, I'm a huge fan of magnaflow. More mellow, less raspy. Of course my ears may be different than yours.

ordered...2.5 inch. Wonder if this is the three thats avail too..hmmm..oh well..whats done is done....two days!! :) reservation at the local performance shop...wasnt sure if he had intake so ordered AEM's as well..hope I get this sound...let ya know

@PatrickTheHattrick92 kind of the same thing happened to me . I was going about 15 - 20 mph though . I went up under the car I hit (2010 Impala) and tore the bumper off , the exhaust and made it deploy the air bags in both cars. Both were repairable , the Impala did get repaired. But my cougar was only worth about 1200 from the miles I had on it. It would have cost about 3400 I think in order to repair it..... so yeah totaled =(

I rearended a ford rangerr. I went underneath  his rear end and my hood got flattened. =(. I mean, i was going so slow at the time because traffic was backed up all the way up this hill that we were going like 3 feet at a time. And all the cars bumper to bumper. It sucked cus it was when i first got my license so i wasn't sure what to do.
