@tropmonky I like it how they have a screening process for potential owners & they don't send their kittens by air freight what breeder In their right mind would send any animal especially a Savannah by air freight.

I have had at least 20 different people respond to me about their A1 cat dying of FIP- Please complain to TICa. Something is wrong with numbers so high!

Sorry for your loss it's unfair that a beautiful cat left this world way to soon & I was wanting to know what's FIP & who is TICa, We don't have Savannah cats here In Australia because the scumbag anti cat lobby Influenced our federal government not to let these cats Into our country.

@casperblackcat1975 Yeah, I know about the Australia issue and that really sucks for you guys down under. FIP is a Feline virus that is very hard to track down and deal with. I suggest doing some searches on the internet to learn about it. TICA is a cat organization and they have their own websites. I can't put website links in here, otherwise I would. These are such wonderful pets and it's a shame they won't allow them down in there.

@tropmonky I've actually created a Facebook page called Australian Friends Of The Savannah Cat to inform breeders & owners that there are people In Australia that supports the Introduction of the breed, If I was able to I'd own 2 Savannahs (1 boy & 1 girl) my backyard is big enough I'd just make it more secure so they can't get out & seeing that I work from home they can annoy me as much as they want as I love Interacting with animals.

@casperblackcat1975 "make it more secure so they can't get out" LOL, these cats open up doors, cabinetry, purses and more. They are often called Houdini cats because of this. My F4 male can jump about 8ft high with ease! I'd have to be a VERY high and nice setup to keep these cats corralled outside. Not saying it can't be done, It'd be quite a setup to do so. I've owned lots of different animals from Ferrets, cats, dogs, ect. Savannah's are quite different from average cats. I wish you luck!

@tropmonky These cats can certainly show you how Intelligent they are there's a breeder called AJSavannahs & they have some very useful links to some online stores which sell products which helps you Savannah Cat proof your home.

@casperblackcat1975 I'm a huge fan of AJSavannahs and follow them! After having ferrets I'm good at pet proofing places now.
