you have to be careful of the statistics you claim... the research you have quoted has been funded by various organisations who want to persued you. don't be fooled. i agree to reuse as much as possible. but we live in a modern society and part of that is plastic. we would be alot worse of without it. there is alot more important things in life to woory about than this. making bags out of food ( corn / starch ) whilst Africa starves. now make a video on that.

Reusable is definitely the best and is what I use most of the time.

Plastic produced from oil should be baned in my view. Cellulose based plastics are biodegradable and compostable. We used cellulose until the switch over to petroleum based plastic, pharmaceuticals, dyes, food colors etc. That is when cancer rates began to increase in this country. We need to get back to using natural substances. Paper would be OK if made from hemp. Tree paper requires massive amounts of sulfuric acid.
