  • Q: How many guitar players does it take to change a light bulb?

A: six, one to change the light bulb and

5 to brag about how they can do it better.

    Same as it ever was...lol

  • These people on here complaining about bible music.... It was 25 years before I found out Phil Keaggy was sort of a Christian musician. I always just listened to the music & liked it. Never knew what they were singin' about. I'm surprised how many hardcore listeners out there didn't know Creed was Christian-based. Its all what you want to believe in, but if there really is a hell, and if I end up there, I hope I'm the one on duty the day you non-believing idiots all check in...

  • Some point , late in hendrix's career, after hearing young Phil keagy, replied that he was one of the best guitarists he had heard. Quite accolades coming for hendrix!

  • Stacey didn't mention a thing about a reunion at the Plain Dealer - - poor Stacey, what did you know anyway!

  • @orangewizard yeah i was a bit out of line with that one.

  • @lavaxtris1 Fine, but in order to make your point you didn't have to slag Townshend, who IS a fantastic rhythm player, and in the top handfull of all time great songwriters.

  • I just found a mint copy of the first album...the German import cd for 2 bucks at a Salvation Army store!!!!

  • @dormdphd The first LP had added strings and John Cale on viola. I'd love to know that story, but for MCA to add an orchestra for a first album by a bunch of unknowns from Ohio meant something. The Christian references did not go over well with the money men in marketing.

  • I never realized John sang this. This was the song on the MCA sampler LP that convinced me GH would change 20th century music.

  • @NewCreationCabinets - apples and oranges-type of comparison, but noteworthy

  • Someone made the comment on the drummer being like Ginger Baker. Ginger backer was a good drummer but the drummer for Grand Funk is and was the best.
