Listened to this In double history on friday ;)

Will you guys be doing another Lady Jane Gray song.
-
@gazitore Sigh.
It is a short song about Elizabeth I. They need to move the song along.
This is sung to "She's not there" NOT the album version of "In the goda davida."
If yo want to tackle THAT, I will wish you luck and wait enthusiastically for your results.

again a fantastic job...when I teach this unit to my students I always mention Lady Jane...I love what you do and so do my students....keep it up!

I wish my history classes were this entertaining.

Great! Will you make one with Mary I?

That was a awesome video! Could you please try and make one about Edward VI? He is my favorite Tudor. If you could do that it would be great!
By the way I am subscribing you!
Ahem. You said "after brother Edward's death, she had her say". Well, after Edward's death, Mary became queen, and she had no say at all (Mary hated her and almost killed her).
Otherwise, great video.

@cloclocupcake7 um, yes, we know that. But when you are writing a short song you have to skip over some parts. We are assuming people would be studying the succession...and realize it was Jane Grey (our video that was pulled), then Mary, then Elizabeth.

Wait a minute here: You mention a Lord Dudley in "Mary, Queen of Scots". And you mention a Lord Dudley here, for Elizabeth. Pardon me for being a real slow student here, (who's about 2x your age!), but we talkin ' bout the same Dudley? Been a while since my school days, so forgive my ignorance... or my forgetful old brain. Or did I just add 2 & 2, and everybody else knew the answer was 4, already?

@PierreaSweedieCat You are on to something, but in error about Mary - in that song we mention "Lord Darnley", her creepy husband...however, the Lord Dudley in this song is Robert, Earl of Leicester...rumored to have been Elizabeth's love and even a wife murderer (there is much debate)...and Liz offered him up to her cousin Mary (an insult? to ensure peace?) but she did not end up with him.

She did not reign after Edward, she reigned after Mary I
gazitore 10 months ago
@gazitore Of course we know that, as we hope most of our listeners do, but that does not mean to say that after Edward (the rightful male heir)'s death, that both Elizabeth and Mary I "had their say"...not to mention Lady Jane (p.s. both Lady Jane and Mary I will have their own songs).
