The odds are staggering that by pressing a button, one can match a predetermined number out of 75 in order to win $100,000. On Wednesday, October 22, John Hanlin beat those odds.
Here is the thing........the balls in the hopper are only there for effect, someone on the top of the roof dropped the ball, so I am thinking, since this was the first (and was the only) time someone got the superball, might as well have a winner.
I personally think they should've ADDED $100,000 to his total (like back in season 1 when John Stefan won a total of $101,447) instead of augmenting his total winnings to $100,000.

Actually, assuming that you get to the superball round, your odds of getting it are 5 out of 75, or 1 in 15 -- over 6%. Not staggering at all.

The "O" Row is VERY difficult to go through. Almost impossible.
