I thought that sudhha dhanyasi is a janya ragam of Karaharapriya... But learning that it is a janya ragam of thodi is really surprising.. I cant see any raga characteristics of thodi comparable to suddhadhanyasi... Though the swarams are common to thodi ragam..

@SV2609 I think you are missing the point, isn't the movie about a villager who educates his whole village?? it is not in a movie where the hero is a loverboy/gangster/gangster under cover as is the case these days . you have heroes singing about srilankan issue / politics in a movie that has no connection to the same

Tuned in suddha danyasi! Sudha Dhanyasi is another janyam of Thodi raagam. Sa Ga Ma Pa Ni Sa; Sa Ni Pa Ma Ga Sa. You can also (more appropriately) call it as a janyam of Nadabhairavi. Ilayaraja has been very generous in using this scale.
