Thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge. I am not able to find the brand of socks that I favor for work which now have small holes in the toes. I used this video to repair them nicely. I can't even fele a difference. I used a light bulb per your suggestion. Your a jewel to share !

Sure, your welcome. Knowledge like this helped out my family during the Great Depression in Canada.

Precious footage - thank you for being brave and filming this for all of us. This will save a lot of my husband's more expensive socks. And the darning egg is still widely available.

The bravery continues in negotiations to possibly sell this video to a Hollywood production studio for an MTV show. I was approached by them - not the other way around.
