How can I add the music and the other widget like stuff to my timeline??

@Albin0George You need to go and search for the apps you want to add, or see what your friends are doing and add them from facebook.

You just sign in as normal and it will ask for your permission, you click yes and 'Add to Timeline' and you'll be good to go!

Is this change only to profile or to pages also? Could it necessitate all new templates for iframes, etc.?

@compaqdr Yes the newsfeed has changed quite dramatically and now gives you a whole load more control over what you see.

I got Facebook because it was simple and unsophisticated to use. The new structure and complexity was the reason why many people left myspace and now that Google+ is out, Facebook is trying to become cooler and more complex? They're only shooting themselves in the foot. I don't like it.

if facebooks becomes a blog more than a social network I will close my account, after all now that most of my friends have the timeline there's far less communication going on. Messages are harder to see and all that matters are pictures. Facebook is now less about communicating with others and more about promoting oneself
