how is it influenced? its just the music that is middle eastern. the dance is completely malay.

hw could u say this is 'ok' for a middle eastern dance when it's not even close!?
Music of this tempo requires hip gyrations, tummy work..stuff like belly dancing..

well...i give 4 star...why?as a choreographer myself..noted a lot need to improve...design n colours of the costumes...its ok to wear baggy pants for the ladies but much nicer to wear kebaya/kurung tops to avoid 'nampak ketiak'as commented earlier...pecahan/olahan tari,olahan tubuh n stage control...very2 good!! of cos for samrah dance, gerak tari yg a bit rough 2 normal audience..but not 2 choreographer....as it is part n parcel of this middle east dance.....to me its 'ok'!

sometimes, yg original lebih hebat kalu kita perkemaskan lagi.. org skrg terlalu bnky buat pembaharuan pd semua jenis tarian sampaikan yang asli tak nampak lagi, tiada kesopanan bagi perempuan sampaikan ketiak n kangkang pn nampak, kalu dulu, pnuh kelembutan tp gerakannya ttp sharp... ada yg cerita org dulu kalau menari, lantainya di alaskan kain, kain tuh pun x renyuk lepas menari... nak menunjukkan betapa lembutnya pergerakan mereka.. Just viewing my point here...
