@jsysgrj - Beginners should probably measure until they get a feel for how much an ounce or 1/2 ounce of hops looks like in their various forms. Once you're used to it, you can wing it and still be very accurate.

Watching you trying to clean out that bottle reminds me of the reason why personally hate using Carboys.
I prefer screw on lid brew barrels because if I have to I can get my whole arm in there with my brush and clean them easily plus its easier to draw samples for Hydrometer readings but each to their own.
BTW I'm just getting into mashing and you're videos have helped me heaps.

u can use metasulphite for a quick cleaning

Oxyclean in hot, hot water will practically dissolve that crud. A better sanitizer would be Starsan or Iodophor. Both are no rinse removing any chance of re-introducing bacteria caused by rinsing.

Aerate -I think its pronounced "air-Rate" rather than Air-e-ate. Could be a regional thing.
Anyway, the reason for NOT splashing that foam on the side of the boil kettle is b/c it may contain DMS...BUT - what does it really matter? If you like your beer?! You know?!

Why dont you use one step cleaner to clean the Carboy? I have found Bleach to be damaging

You say to Hop precisely and then you wing it in without weighing or measuring. I do not agree that you need to be precise. You are contridicting yourself.
