  • Is that door the only way in?

  • @IchiTrois Bascially yes. There is an emergency exit on the opposite side (above the right side executive table). Some cargo models have been modified to allow the flight crew to enter/exit through the copilot's side window after the cabin has been filled with cargo.

  • Is the flushing potty a standard 'honeypot' style (ala King Airs).

  • @ecktoeman Yes

  • DO NOT get ice on the wings of a MU - EVER! Or so I've heard.

  • @dave0mary Acutally the MU2 is a champ in icing. I was in some day before yesterday as a matter of fact. Keep your speed up (>180) and use your equipment correctly and I don't know of a plane that does better.

Also, any airplane with boots will benefit from applying ICE-X prior to any flight where ice may be encountered.

  • Great vid! If I had the money I'd buy an MU-2. Inexpensive way to get into a turboprop!

Maybe Mitsubishi should consider restarting production, albeit with a few upgrades and modifications.

  • @poskyflyer By the way, there is video here called " learning the truth about the MU2 SFAR", gives you a good idea about misunderstandings/ greatness of this plane.

  • @poskyflyer hmmmm....riiiight.." the king air is also a better airplane" I guess I will have to just accept that statement, even though I have flown both and talked to pilots& mechanics about both of them.

  • @youngfart40 compare how many are deployed world wide bud, kingair is also a better airplane

  • @poskyflyer Hold your horses! I dont know about that. The MU 2 has had no air worthiness directives issued against it! In fact it is one of the few planes that has that distinction. Where as the King Air series has had few. Besides the MU2 is just cooler looking! Not to mention both faster as well as slower.

  • @dave0mary You heard wrong!
