Wednesday 31 March 2010: On the 20th anniversary of the poll tax riots, anarchists and members of groups like Class War and Government of the Dead gathered in Trafalgar Square to remember the rioters and what became the end of the poll tax system and the end of Margaret Thatcher as the UK Prime Minister. The gathering came under the immediate attention of Heritage Wardens private security and the police, including several units of the Police Forward Intelligence Team. The main speaker of the gathering was Pete Gold of the Print Casuals from the 1980s Wapping print worker strikes.
