since golden books (random house) closed down their board game business and sold their girl talk trademark to hasbro in 1995, allowing hasbro interactive to do a cd-rom version of it in 1998 which had the ability to use the power of the internet (aka world wide web) with microsoft's internet gaming zone technology built-in. a hannah montana version was released in 2007 after hasbro sold their computer game division to infogrames usa (later renamed atari interactive).
