Here I lay out some of the reasons why I believe the MacBook Pro may not be a good substitute for a dedicated PC Gaming laptop if you are a serious, hardcore gamer.

  • The XPS isn't that great if you can only get Vista on it... If you are a hardcore gamer, get XP it treats you like an Adult, Vista treats you like a child.

  • No, Macs a re built for people who don't spend all their time playing games and actually use their computers to make money.

And Macs are PC's fool, gtfo.

  • I used to be a hardcore gamer.

    (Playing Crysis, CoD..etc)

but now i just play games on funny games xD

-Tara is teaching me how to play the keyboard!!

  • Im not hating or anything, but your always like. "Hi Okay?" "Gaming Okay?" "Get a alienware or a dell Okay?" Okay? Okay? Okay? OKay?

  • what are you talking about?

pc as a console medium is still running high.there are still a hell of a lot of people that likes the keybord \ mouse than the joypad setup. anyways, if no one games on a pc anymore, then why do they always port games from console to pc???

  • My stepdad games on an xbox, i used to but i got a gaming pc for christmas and i just use a 360 controller on my pc

  • no one really games on computers anymore buy and xbox and a mac your fine

  • Leopard is much easier to use than vista or xp. The preferences for instance on whatever mac programs are always located in the same position, in the submenu right next to the apple sign. In vista or xp the average user needs to spend worthy time searching for the preference menu as it is located at a different location for every program. Also a mac has most printer (and other) drivers already pre installed. on windows you again waste time in searching for drivers.

  • If he is, as he says so himself "not the authority on graphic cards and gaming systems" and doesn't really know anything ells but mac why is he doing this comparison in the first place? He is although right in saying to get a windows if you're a gamer as they tend to have a lot more price worthy power. Having owned both, I would recommend a mac to work with, as it has a much simpler environment, but a windows to play games with.
