The Gabriola Island Complaints Choir, BC Canada, is directed by Gail Lund who also wrote the music and lyrics for the song on this video. Editing & videography by Nigel Hart.

With many thanks to Tellervo Kalleinen and Oliver Kochta-Kallleinen for their inspiration and their wonderful website.

  • Re: payjani & craftylady50: Are you complaining?

All complaints will carefully considered, but only if put to music first.

    Kind regards - the Mismanagement

  • it is one of the best-done of the complaints-choirs...

and really fun to listen to.

  • The gulf islands should be declared a "tax payer beware" zone. Full of tax burdens. You should all have to pay a flat $10,000 tax for living there. Clear cut it, drill for oil, and make you hippies earn your keep.

    Love, Vancouver

  • @jlcmh yes : )

  • 4:55 nice laugh

  • Those folks on Gabriola are truly inspiring. I think it's time to start a Complaints Choir in Toronto don't you? So much here to complain about after all.

  • Amen

  • Very funny, I know most of these people!

  • Umm .... hello this is ''funny'' -- as in tongue in cheek? But maybe you don't really have a sense of humour -- all the better you think this island is 'scuzzy' as without a funny bone you certainly wouldn't enjoy beautiful Gabriola.

  • omg this is an artistic piece ok.. creative.. and funny.. lighten up will u! it's not called a complaints choir for nothing.. ;)

  • Very clever. Well composed. Sassy but in good taste. Best complaints choir I've seen on YouTube. I empathize with your frustrated expressions of love for your home.
