I would rather face a health insurance company than a government bureaucrat.The thought of that absolutely sends a chill down my spine.

Public option is a good start but eventually becomes a mess, look into what's happening in the other countries, specially in Israel which have both privates and the government plan.
There is a good reason most countries with government plan run a single payer system.

Snowe does support the public option. It's called trigger and it's not different. It will go into effect when Obama says so and you bet he will say so in a couple years. Snowe (a liberal) knows that and I LOVE HER for it. :)

If most Americans want the bill, as you say, then why are 85% of Americans satisfied with thier health insurance, and no one has lied more than Obama about the bill, Rep. Wilson was correct, it is the law, all ER's must accept ALL patients regardless of ability to pay. If anyone is stupid, it is you, and you underestimate the elderly electorate.
