This was a great game, idk how it got such a bad rep. Also a pretty hard game too. Hope they make another AITD game soon.

you have to move the (right?) thumbstick back and then quickly forward to simulate actually swinging it

i don't know why the reviewers hate this game, the graphics, presentation and even the gameplay looks great. are the controls really that bad that they gave an avarage rating of 5-6 out of 10?

It's not that the controls are bad....just that there is a larger than normal handicap in getting used to them. I probably died more during the "tutorial" portion of this game than any other due to getting the hang of the controls. Keep at it, and you can become perfectly adept at it like any other game.
