its an either or situation, if u dont know what it means, it can go either way. for beginners start with a small weight, but work your way up, but i'd say only up to 20lbs for the last one. the first one really does work, but you should also consider doing triceps dips, w.e u wanna call'em

Less weight, More rep's...it burns the fat and worksout that area lightly
hands down the best tricep workout is skull crushers with an E Z curl bar with your hands as close to each other as possible, believe me u will definitly feel it in the tries for the next 2-3 days if u do it right
