You can use straw instead of hay to limit the number of seeds. Or you could just give the hay to your chickens bit by bit and they will eat the seeds.

i noticed that you have compost that had food from the kitchen, can u mix that with dog manure? i only have one dog but he does poop a couple times in the day.. is it possible to mix it with any type of compost? oh just wondering can you mix any type of compost like kicthen waste with paper or housepet manures? thanks!

@4babyhael I'd never heard of anybody doing that but I don't really see why not I would give it plenty of time to compost properly though there is no chance of the burning your plants. I do know of a couple people who have used there pets waste to make worm castings.

@lron360 Yes to keep it from drying out I used a tarp.
