That's just a drop in the bucket! But it confirms everything some of us have been saying for decades. Those running the AGW hoax belong in prison and I hope to see them all prosecuted and put in prison where they belong. Clearly, the USA should get out of the UN and tell them to go pound sand elsewhere. Let Castro pay their bills.

To use DDT in the argument is rather flawed, because DDT virtually killed of the Peregrine Falcon, and massively depleted other raptor species. When DDT was banned, the populations have returned to normal levels. So DDT is passed down the food chain, and thins the shells of the birds eggs. DDT should be banned.

DDT really is pretty harmless. The problem was that it was so vastly over used. When that stuff came out, it was in a time when people didn't understand how powerful some chemicals can be. "If a little works well, a lot works better" was the mind set. DDT saved millions of lives. If not for extreme paranoia among the ignorant it would be used to save more people today.

So you think we should ban DDT to save falcons even at the cost of human lives???

Sri Lanka had a horrible problem with that. The place used to have enormous numbers of deaths from malaria (and other jungle diseases). When DDT was used, the malaria rates plummeted.

THEN, the enviro-weenies got all pissy about DDT, and Sri Lanka banned its use.

Do I really have to tell what happened after that? Yes, you guessed it - malaria cases skyrocketed.

Not at all! Quite the contrary, in fact. We DID ban DDT at the cost of human lives. It was overkill, if you pardon the pun. DDT wasn't so bad, it was just vastly over used. We could have saved those birds with simple and reasonable use of DDT.

James Randy will gladly give you a million dollars if you can demonstrate it. He's had that challenge running for a VERY long time, and so fo no takers. Do you really wonder why? Psychics and holistic "medicine" quacks and AGW quacks all have in common the fact that their claims cannot stand up to any examination and they know it so they refuse to be tested.
