Scott Katsura's "Born This Way" music video - the title track taken from his "Born This Way" CD-album - is a tribute and anthem for the L.G.B.T. communities of the world. In this provocative slide show, historical events are relived through powerful snapshots while accompanied with meaningful questions that tug at the heart of the matter. Not long ago, some had no civil rights; interracial marriage was forbidden; women could not vote; concentration camps imprisoned innocent people. Today - in the year 2010, still, the L.G.B.T. community confronts the very same issues of time gone past - inequality, bigotry, hatred and violence, to name a few. On a high note, a picture collage of many prominent and influential people from the L.G.B.T. community are showcased. Heroes like Ellen DeGeneres, David Geffen, KD Lang, Elton John, Billie Jean King, Ricky Martin, and more, help to make this music video very inspiring, touching and emotionally charged. After each viewing, you'll want to stand up and cheer -- for all humanity!

Scott Katsura is an award winning, international pop recording artist on the Airtime Recording Company label. As "Born This Way" is Scott's fifth CD-album release, added with his heartfelt passion for this project, Scott was very adamant in strictly focusing on the L.G.B.T. community -- while helping to further their causes. These L.G.B.T. issues and topics are so much more than a mere concept for an album or song -- for it is a real lifestyle that is deeply felt by those who are experiencing it firsthand. This is a time to unify, and to become one strong family that stands up together. After all, equality begins in your own backyard... With 'Born This Way' especially-- it's not about being the singer who is typically promoting your own artistic expression on a project, but rather, it's about connecting to each person out there, one by one, knowing that all of us are feeling the same way on so many different levels."

  • You forgot Lady Gaga

  • This is equally good, if not better, than Lady Gaga's song of the same name.

  • Really love this! Although, Rock Hudson, and Liberace never came out of the closet in life (officially). With Anderson Cooper, it's very frustrating. Yeah, it's like an "open secret, well DUH" kind of thing. Him officially coming out would be a BIG DEAL for queer youth, and I can't figure out why he won't.

  • i tough it was the lady gaga song.. beautiful video by the way

  • Lovely song. It sure does say it all. Hope to hear more from you.

  • An awesome video! It's so touching to know that there are people who are going all the way in supporting the LGBT community.
