Not your average LeSabre. Port and polish, fenderwell intake system, Flowmaster exhaust with MagnaFlow cat, custom tune which enables a 4-1 downshift (can be seen in video), skewed injectors, and a lot more fun stuff...

  • Hey I have a 97 Lesabre and I was wondering where you got the tune at or who could do a tune. Or would it be pointless for a tune if all I have is a removed rez and flowmaster muffler? Did you intake add a considerable amount of power? Also what diameter is the cone you have in it?

  • I got my tune from a friend who is knowledgeable about these engines, but you can also get a "tune in a can" from certain companies. Any well planned tune can help, even stock, but more mods always helps. I didn't notice the intake adding much, but that's just me. Port and polish and tune added the most. Altogether though they compliment each other. Intake is K&N, 3.5" diameter. Both a tune (one size fits all) and the intake I bought can be found at intense-racing d o t c o m.

  • If you still have this car can you make a 0-60 vid. PLEASE!!!!!!

  • I may...I try not to floor it from a stop too often though, cause with 160k miles and all this extra stuff I've added keeping my transmission happy is pretty much a full time job, lol!

  • What is with the oil gauge jumping to 80-90 psi at full throttle? I've the same year mine only get's to 50-55 WOT with sythetic 10w30... heavy oil? the cpu maybe?

  • I dunno, really good oil pump and minimal wear maybe? Lol...it's always done that. I run strictly Amsoil 0W-30 synthetic and Amsoil EaO oil filters.

  • those lesabre's have a nice gauge set and layout, esp in the dark

  • @BlooDBank101 Just depends on how much cheddar you want to put into the LeSabre. With $20k anything would be possible! ;)

  • @blah1752 yeah, I wonder if Hennesy can get a lesabre 1000 HP, weight reduction, stiffer suspension, and drive train changed to rwd or maybe awd that would be a sick car lol

  • @BlooDBank101 A boosted 3.8 would be a fun car (and you can load your buddies up too) but if I mess with my LeSabre I will probably go with just bolt ons (pending I EVER have the money to do it...) just to have a little fun

  • @blah1752 lol 7 months can make such a big change, but your right, also its not much more power and you can easily get a eaton supercharger on a normal 3.8 but that cost's time and money too

  • @BlooDBank101 Premium gas with prices on the rise and worse economy with boost is enough to steer me away from an L67 swap, personally at least... Oh and there's that money issue ;)

  • Were you merging on to I-85 in this video? like the other two full throttle videos you have

  • you should get a l67 engine for your lesabre, much faster and funner

  • can you send me a link or tell me where you got some of your shit from? i also have a 97 LeSaber limited with 188k miles

  • i have a 97 buick lesabre limited, but its sitting in the backyard right now covered in snow. the motor is bad. I need a new motor for it. But, I will have it fixed soon. NIce Lesabre you have though.
