@sunshine19967 No, they are all vintage sock monkeys that we found over the years - they are all rescues. Too many 20th century sock monkeys were lost and abandoned by their original owners and were left to wander the streets. That's why we started the Red Heel Monkey Shelter. To save old unwanted sock monkeys and to give them a home where they can be themselves.

@TheGreatMetallica Sockbuscus is an awesome name for a green sock monkey. It also sort of sounds like a word you can't say to a sock monkey. When something goes wrong, a monkey just stands there, looking annoyed, dejected, and wondering why these things always happen. And then he or she quietly mutters (or shouts at the top of his/her lungs): "Sockbuscus." Love it.
