How simple-minded some people are. To have the nerve to question ability is ridiculous. Basquiat is an exceptional artist. Anyone that studies art history, who practices conceptual art, and can break down the work are all one step ahead of people who question without reason. You'd think with what our world has become in the last ten years would open people's eyes to how ahead of his time he actually was. The same with how people saw Warhol. Educate yourself @zadeh79

People have to stop justifying the scribbles of this junkie, as notable artwork. Basquiat is a joke. "Amateurish", would be a compliment. It's the worst of the worst. It's juvenile. And it, generally, only appeals to the smallest minority of the populace, whom can relate to him racially and economically. God, his stuff was bad, and not only in the sense of opinions. He was a man who's only novelty came in emulating typical toddler art, one can find scattered on a refrigerator.
