youtube spacelab entry...collision of two substances of equal velocity in zero gravity

The hypothesis of our experiment is given below:
We have two substances is equal to the velocity of mutual opposition to the project. the mass of the substances are equal. when the collision will happen in earth the substances will fall down to the earth's surface due to the gravity. but in the ISS this will not happen. I think that as the velocity and the mass of the substances are equal and they are coming from opposite direction the will dismiss each other's velocity and will collapse together.
