this is a video i made in my back garden on my bike, forks are reba race dual air - 100mm, i have them set pretty smoothly with not much air in the two chambers so they are constantly active.

see my other video of same forks here:

  • looks like you need more air!! hitting bottom too much.

  • i know i put more air in and they are much better see my second video. i didnt bottom out once though.

  • so do you like the fork? because i am going to buy a new one, and reba would be the topping on the cake :D i saw the plushness of it, but how about maintenance? does it cost much? Thanks

  • i like them a lot, i went from some cheap coil forks to them the difference was huge. they gave me so much more confidence on my bike, i now ride pretty much anything and havent come close to losing control because they keep my tire on the track. You don't really get much better than a Reba, dual air allows you to fine tune the fork until its exactly what you want. i have had over a year and i havent had to do anything to them, i got them for £250 which was a bargain, the rrp was £350.

  • how much air do you pump in them?

    Grtz

  • close tolerance with that tire huh..nice vid..love seeing these kinds of things

  • i have coil shox, marzocchi bomber (older ones) and there really soft kind of like urs but maybe little harder... i bottom out on a foot drop... and its too old to get new coils... but u have nice forks that if there too soft just pump them up.. lol

  • I had, I made a vid about it. Check my channel. "Reba Rebuild"

  • hey there you should have them serviced a t a great shop too thell fix the stuff that they recall since rock shox is always fixing there stuff

  • no, i probably should, i've had them more than a year and half now. they still perform well.

  • I bought mine off ebay a few weeks back. They're only 6 months old but I guess they've had quite a bit of use. Have u ever had yours serviced?

  • LOL. I was only joking. I've just bought a pair off ebay. Top forks!

  • bit harsh lol. i was just mucking around in my garden trying to tune them for the trail i made, i think you'll find it was a pretty much perfect set up for that terrain. Then i when i went out for a proper cycle i obviously put some more air in them.
