@dam16sakssmgs Stock it would top out at about 40mph. Post mods I got it around 70+ MPH before I blew the final drive input shaft bearing.

cool i have a cpi hussar. i blew the 70 haha. i want a vento zip gtx/gt5. how much money did you put into it to get it that fast? you running higher gears?

Meh, I would stay away from the Zip if I had to do it again. Thing was harder than hell to work on and has a really odd intake manifold that is only on that bike. I went in on a group buy of parts from SIP Scooters in Germany so I dropped maybe a total of $400 into the project. Runnin stock gears, Getting up to that speed I really had it pegged out. So much in fact that I blew the bearings in the gear case. I had to rebuild the entire back tranny after that.
