English version of the theme song of the classic children's television series "Jeremy." The series also aired in French under the title "Colargol." "Im a bear called Jeremy, I can do most anything, I can play and I can sing, little tunes like do-re-mi. When he heard me sing, the King of Birds said to me,
Heres for you dear thing, a whistle that goes tweet-tweet - tweet-tweet tweet-tweet tweet-tweet, tweet! Im a Bear called Jeremy, I can do most anything, I can play and I can sing, yes, my name is Jeremy!"

  • jeremy rules!

  • Jeremy has been tweeting long before any of us have!

  • OMG is this in the abyss of my childhood memories. Good old TVO days in the 80s, This is extremely obscure

  • @0raj11 Thank you so much for that web address, I had no idea it had been in production for 7 years! The BBC only bought/translated/broadcast the first 13 episodes.

  • @0raj11 sounds great! i'm gonna check it out later. :) thanks for mentioning it! :) this was one of my personal favourites as a small child.

  • @0raj11 Sorry "mybearfriend" alone doesn't work, you must type w w w in front

  • @butiamthedoctor Go to the page mybearfriend net , this is a fan page dedicated to Colargol - you'll find it everything explained there in detail.

  • @0raj11 Interesting, in all the TV archive articles I've read about Barnaby/Jeremy/Colargol, they all mention it was originally a French production, but the Polish connection's never mentioned or come up before in any of them.

  • @0raj11 (cont.) Under ?v=xFy90pGFtbQ you can find a bunch of songs from the Polish version

  • @butiamthedoctor It was actually a Poish-French coproduction originally. The author of the story and producer were French, but it has been entirely created by a Polish studio Se-Ma-For and the director was Polish. If you look on Youtube for different lanaguage versions of "Colargol", you will find that the Polish one has probably the best music of all...
