Aliwan 2009: Dinagyang Festival IloIlo (Official Version)

The Dinagyang festival celebrates the time when the image of Senior Sto. Nino was first brought to the archipelago by Magellan as a goodwill gift for the wife of Rajah Kulambo. Natives used the image of the Child Jesus to convince aboriginal tribesmen of the saving power of GOD. This year, Tribu Paghidaet of La Paz National High School continues to honor Senor Sto. Nino and proclaim with "one mind and one heart" the omnipresence of GOD. Dinagyang Float depicts both the historicity and religiousity of the festival. Using indigenous materials such as bamboo, ginit, broomsticks, achuete and various kinds of beans, numerous designs are crafted as symbols of the Ilonggo's past. The giant Ati is also a constant reminder of the challenges that face Ilonggos in this day and age. Dinagyang's Tribu Paghidaet placed 3rd in 2009 Aliwan Fiesta. hindi kagaguhan ang pagsasayaw loko ka.....kung wala kang utak you cant choreograph something like that.......wala ka kasing talent....ang alam mo lang mag comment..

bago ka pa natutong magsalita ang pinag mulan upang magkaintindihan ay ang pagsasayaw. kulang ka lang sa aruga ng nanay mo bitter ka kc....kc di ka siguro isinayaw ng nanay mo nung bata ka pa....kahit hele lang bobo ka kc

bitter talga ang cebu! kaya napapaaway kayo e alam nmn namin dito sa manila na mas hamak na magaling ang mga taga iloilo. di nga kayo nanalo sa last 3 nyong sinulog aliwan pa kaya.? Puro salita! galing mag copypaste. pati concept ng sinulog copypaste na rin. noon puro kayo "payong at torotot". ngayon dipa dinagyangpipes pa kayo. pati risers ng dinagyang ginaya nyu na rin pati pa headress pati mix nang kulay!

yah i agree sinulog festival is just a field demonstration na puro props at pinagandang costume... choreography wise pwet lang kayo ng mga ati ng dinagyang hehehehehe
