  • Hello, I was hoping you could help me with an issue I am having with the title editor/software in general. When my project is paused the preview screen goes blank (setting issue?). Because of this however, editing titles is very difficult because I cant see what I am doing unless I hit play. Is there a way to have my projects paused, yet still see what I am working on? For instance: at 2:55 of this video, there is no black area with "Your Text Here" for me, only the grey background.

    Thanks

  • @FATHAPPYPANDA Sorry, I'm not familiar with this issue. Sign up for the Avid Studio Forum and post your issue there for help. They are always good at helping with issues.

  • hey do you have to where we have a bright light shinning throuigh the text...? thanks! :)

  • @vengance14 Create your text, go to open effects editor, add ons, red giant, shine.

  • @AvidStudioPro I edited my clip and now I want to have some credits fade on at that bottom.. how do I get the credits onto the scene I just edited? I know theres a way to put a scene playing in the background of your text but thats only for just random un edited clips... I want to have text appear onto the scene I already edited.. thanks :)

  • @vengance14 Bring your edited clip onto a timeline track and make sure you have an empty timeline track above it. Place the scrubber at the position where you want the text to come onto the clip. On the track above the clip, click the section to the left of track to activate it. Click the "T" (text button) above the timeline tracks. You can now edit the text and it will appear exactly where you want it to.

  • @82224561 Are you using a pic with the text or is it just text with no background that plays over the video? If you are using a pic with the text take it out and place the pic in the timeline. Then use the text editor without the pic and place it on a timeline over the pic.

  • @82224561 Try uninstalling and then installing it again. If that desn't work contact Avid Support or leave a comment on the Avid Studio forum. Just google them to find them online.
