1997 was a really underrated year in hip hop. I know things were hard back then (Biggie's death and Bad Boy's "shiny suits"), but Ra kept it real with this song.

the 18th letter.God said: let there be Hip-Hop, and then there was the "R". This brother just gets better; lyrically he's unmatched: his flows are fluid, peerless, and impirically on-point - always! Honestly, this lyrical Ali needs more props - but maybe underground is where Gold keeps best. All I know is that I listen to Hip-Hop all day/all night; and there just isn't an MC who flows this crazy - they try, for sure, but while the many follow, the leader always leads. Flow Forever, bro!
