@lastrada52 Sure, some of her earlier pop material isn't appropriate for an adult, but Lulu was already a great vocalist by the time she was 15. Check 1964's "Here Comes the Night".
Can't believe this is the little girl who had a hit with "To Sir With Love" back in the mid 60's and was in the Sidney Poitier film. This is really good. I love it when an artist transcends what they were originally known for -- you have to respect it. I do. No one can say Lulu is just a has-been pop singer now. Same goes for Cyndi Lauper -- her recent blues album is great. Mary Hopkin recently released a new lp that was also terrific. When is Petula Clark going to do a jazz album?
