  • They should make a netbook with one of these chipsets.

It's playing video better then an Atom ever could without an nVidia ion or at least BCM Crystal HD doing most of the work.

It's probably is using a lot less power too. I don't see any heatsinks on it.

  • @Membrane556 It runs the same model CPU as the iPhone 3Gs, possibly at a higher frequency, no more than 1Ghz though. The A9 will provide up to 4 cores and multiple Ghz of performance

  • How do you get 1280x720? All I can get with Android 2.2 is 1280x1024, would I need to alter the boot.scr?

  • so with android I wouldn't even need to compile all the apps for that chip since android runs a VM - amazing *_*

  • How difficult would it be to BOINC a load of these together into a multi-thread (but teeny) supercomputer?

  • can i hook up a dvd drive with it

  • where can I get one of those boards?

  • This is really sweet. Can you give me links to the newest board setup I would need?

And could linux Ubuntu run on this?

  • @metalmlo0352 it is using H.264 codec, so it is an MP4 container. If it had the codec for Makarov files it might. I would guess the videos in the video were about 10-30MB. It probably couldn't output a 1080p video, but it could do the full movie at 720p.

  • @Membrane556 There is one now... Pandora handheld looks like a notebokk and it has VERY VERY VERY similiar things inside like Beagle Board... :)

  • Did I get it right? The HD video is stored on that 2 GB SD card???

  • wat is this
