Steamed Humboldt Dungeness Crab

Add enough water in cooking vessel to allow at least 17 minutes of steaming and approximately 1/4 cup rock salt per 10 crab.
Cover, bring to a boil, add crab and steam for 17 minutes.
Remove cover and place crab in cold water for at least 5 minutes.
Back, clean, crack crab and ENJOY!!!

"Steam the flavor in, instead of boiling it out!!!"

Special Thanks to Captain James Peltier & Hot Scott Binder...

  • @29render

Thanks for your kind remark! We are about 2+ hrs. south of there. The video with Camp Crepes was shot at the Harris & Cannon beaches just north of Brookings, Oregon. Love the coastline in that area. OCIC

  • We sure try to......fresh, local and organic as much as possible. Crab from the ocean truly makes us localvores. OCIC
