If youre familiar w/ ventana then youd know that they came out w/ a new album recently called american survival guide vol. 1 & were originally a side project/band of stitch from an awesome band named mushroomhead(the mothership). theres also another experiment called tenafly viper thanks to waylon reavis & skinny from the "mothership" mushroomhead. tenafly viper is less like ventana or mrh & more like southern hard rock combined w/ heavy metal i guess.

can i ask you a serious question though?? why is it that this (c)rap myyounger brother listens to this little wayne is our generations industry leader? maybe you can answer that after explaining why little blue space men the box office record breaker in revenue in the past 20yrs. or why a hemopheliac metrosexual vampire & his sqaw are the riot amongst teenage girls & their adult mothers. or what bareback mountain?? now i know why heath ledger committed suicide.

@SymAmineC8H11N I've been paying close attention to all of those, and I actually have American Survival Guide, Vol 1. (Amazon took 2 FUCKING WEEKS to ship it!). J-Mann's current band, Pitch Black Forecast, is pretty cool, too.

It's completely unfair to say that all popular shit is lacking in talent. Of course almost all of it is, but you can't say that real talented people NEVER get popular.

And second, just because it took me a while to find THIS music doesn't mean I don't know real musical talent, it just means I don't know Ventana's talent to well.

Aside from that, I agree. Music is all marketing and no talent... :(

yes, of course there's more of where this came from. the only reason why you're not familiar w/ real musical talent is the same reason why mozart was buried in an unmarked paupers grave about 200 years ago. its inevitable that the real talent in any arts is never fully acknowledged & appreciated by the surrounding peoples due to their attention being whored by sellouts who instead replace creativity w/ lame (pop)ular culture.
