The video is an excerpt from an extraordinary series of concerts to support the spanish foundation "Voces para la Paz". Here, the song "Alma Llanera", Venezuela's second National Anthem, is accompanied by the hand-sign chorus from Ponce de Leon Center.
Legendary spanish director Miguel Roa masterfully led the first serires of yearly concerts, including this one. The foundation is a worthy cause. Please, consider contributing.

Alma Llanera is a Venezuelan folk song, style joropo. It was was composed by Pedro Elías Gutiérrez based on a text by Rafael Bolívar Coronado. Born as zarzuela, it premiered on September 19, 1914 at the Teatro Caracas under the name "Alma Llanera: zarzuela in one act" by the Spanish company Matilde Rueda.
